MLK CELEBRATION 2017
On Saturday, January 14, 2017, there will be a dinner theater offered at the auditorium of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 260 High Street, Mount Holly. Doors open for the chicken dinner at 6:00 pm; meals are guaranteed for the first 250 people who enter. A free will offering will be received to cover the cost of the food; any monies left after that will be applied to the Social Ministry fund of RVCA.
After the meal, the original play “Statue of Limitations”, written by Pastor Jost, will be presented by actors from the various congregations in our area, The play showcases some of the key players in the history of the American Civil Rights movement, with commentary using Dr. King’s own words.
On Sunday, January 15, 2017, at 6:00pm the RVCA invites all to worship service at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. At this service three speakers will talk about how Dr. King has influenced their ministry.
