Bagels on the Beach – Boy, the wind never seemed to stop blowing!  This was the first attempt to have our J2A lesson in a different venue and the consensus is that we do this again.  Our adventure started at Bageleddi’s in Ship Bottom on Long Beach Island.  We ate our breakfast (some even shared theirs with the seagulls), continued our lessons on prayer and celebrated Morning Prayer on the beach.  Despite the wind, it was a wonderful experience; building a closer relationship with our Lord.

August J2A & EYCThere will not be J2A classes or the regular monthly meeting in August.

Coming Soon: A mini retreat at the beach in September!  (No, we won’t be sleeping on the beach.) Watch for details.

Great job Ryan Day for your assistance at the Special Olympics!

Kudos to Gage Murphy for applying to be on the Diocese of NJ Youth Council!  The Youth Council assists in the planning and coordinating events and programs for the young adults of the Diocese.

The Diocese is sponsoring a mission trip to Washington, D.C. August 5 – 10.  This is open to all young adults currently in 9th through 12th grades.  See Lucy for more details or check out the Diocese of NJ website. Scholarships are available.

Please keep Cole, Jake and their families in your prayers, as they go through some challenging times. We hope that they will be returning real soon.  Praises for the prayers answered for Hannah. She is on the path of healing.

Remember: Ask, Seek and Knock and you shall be answered.  The power of prayer is awesome!

Together we can make a difference
